Marg ERP Joins Hands with MORD to Provides Newer Opportunities for Skill Development

With the aim to provide skill and employment to the rural youth, Delhi-based Marg ERP Ltd.

is setting up a country-wide chain of centres to provide various skill training. The company has associated with the Ministry of Rural Development for its National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) for the purpose.

Marg ERP Ltd, is the leading Inventory & Accounting Software Company has set their first residential centre at Jamnagar in Gujarat, having capacity of 250 students. The company will open similar centres in Amreli and Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and other states in phases in the coming year.

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) Antyodaya Diwas on the occasion of 98th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on 25th September, 2014. DDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and is uniquely focused on providing skill training to rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years. As a part of the Skill India campaign, it plays an instrumental role in supporting the social and economic programs of the government.

“We share the government vision of providing training to the youth in the villages and hinterland. These youngsters have immense potential to learn and do something different and establish themselves in the professional world. Since we wanted to contribute towards our country, we have joined hands with the government to provide the youth of our country with a better and self-dependent and bright future” said Mr.Mahender Singh, Managing Director (Tech) Marg ERP Ltd.

The duration of the training will be five months. Placement assistance after training will also be provided to the students. The centres will have well qualified trainers and staff. They will also have separate boarding and lodging facilities for boys and girls, proper uniform, canteen with dining area, recreational space, 24x7 CCTV security etc.

“While the first such centre by our company has been opened in Gujarat’s Jamnagar area, our next centre will come up in Amreli and Bhavnagar in Gujarat and more in Bihar, Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan and others states as well,” added Mr. Mahender Singh, Managing Director (Tech) Marg ERP Ltd.
