Ixia Vision ONE™ Certified as Interoperable with RSA® NetWitness Suite

Ixia announced that the company’s network packet broker (NPB), Vision ONE™ has been certified as interoperable with RSA’s NetWitness® Suite for advanced threat detection and response.

This interoperability will help enable enterprise customers with diverse architectures to easily deploy comprehensive network security without compromising performance.

RSA, a leader in the cybersecurity industry for more than 30 years, also named Ixia a technology partner in the RSA® Ready Program, expanding the ecosystem for the RSA NetWitness Suite.  The RSA NetWitness Suite is designed to provide pre-emptive, proactive detection of known and unknown threats, and understands the full scope of a cyber-attack across endpoints, networks, and the cloud.

“We’re pleased to see Ixia complete RSA Ready certification testing for a use case that will help enable our mutual customers to reduce operational costs, while improving network and data protection,” said Mike Adler, Vice President of Products for RSA.

Vision ONE boosts network protection without negatively impacting performance

Ixia’s Vision ONE enables organizations to maintain security as well as identify and resolve performance problems across physical and virtual infrastructures from a single platform. The solution directs traffic of interest to monitoring tools to relieve oversubscription, leverages tool investment across groups, and centralizes monitoring in the Security Operations Center (SOC). It simultaneously collects traffic feeds from important network segments through Ixia’s comprehensive line of network and virtual taps.

“The evolving challenges of cybercrime cannot be tackled without cooperation among security leaders,” stated Scott Westlake, Vice President of Business Development at Ixia.  “Bringing RSA’s cybersecurity expertise to work with Ixia’s visibility solutions will facilitate the efficient and effective deployment of security risk management (SRM) projects for customers of all sizes.”

In addition, Dennis Cox, Ixia’s Chief Product Officer, will be speaking on February 15th, at 1:30 PM PT (North Hall 130), covering “Who will guard the guards themselves? The truth behind security devices.”
