Honor Opens India Device Office in Bengaluru

Honor, a sub brand of Huawei announced the opening of its India device office located at Kaverappa Layout, Outer Ring Road in Bengaluru, the e-commerce hub of India. Spread over 6000 sq.ft, the new address is the dedicated device office in Bengaluru with state-of-the-art facilities and can house ever-growing Honor Family.

As per the IDC Q2 2018 report, Honor with its India-first-approach registered an unprecedented growth of 281% in 2018 H1 compared to 2017 H2 and it is among top 2 brands in the online segment in Q2, 2018.

Honor also has the first overseas software development centre in Bengaluru. Spread over one million sq. ft. the R&D facility is one of the largest Overseas R&D Centres of Huawei which comprises of R&D Block, large cafeteria, multi-level car park, recreation area and residential block for expats, and can accommodate 5,000 employees. The India centre plays a significant role in the development of big data platforms, cloud platforms, telecom, internet, and security protocols.
