GreyOrange to Participate in Home Delivery Europe 2017

GreyOrange is participating in Home Delivery Europe 2017 to add new perspectives to home delivery value chain in United Kingdom. The company’s solutions are deployed at distribution and fulfillment centers for CPG, e-commerce, omni-channel retail, ecommerce and logistics industries.

GreyOrange is recognised as one of the world's Top 50 Robotics Companies by Robotics Business Review. GreyOrange has been at the forefront of warehouse automation innovation, democratising such solutions for various industries. The company’s marquee solutions Butler(goods-to-person inventory storage and picking and combining system) and Sorter (modular system for automating sorting processes in warehouses and fulfillment centres) have been deployed at client sites across Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and India, helping them increase efficiency multi-fold and improve last mile delivery.

Even though European countries have the most resilient supply chain, the region still relies on a lot of manual operations in the break bulk supply chain operations, offering much room for automation for enhancing efficiency. GreyOrange aims to fill this gap with software excellence and bring in greater automation and efficiency to supply chain and warehousing in Europe.

Samay Kohli, Group CEO, GreyOrange said, "The European region is an important region for GreyOrange and offers immense potential for growth. With our unique combination of hardware and software expertise, we aim to bring in big difference in automating the break bulk supply chain industry in Europe, which so far have very limited automation. We have set-up our regional headquarters in Germany for serving customers across UK and other parts of Europe. We are also looking at setting up an R&D center within the next 12 months in Europe.”

He further added, “With GreyOrange’s entry into this market and its expertise in technologies such as AI and machine learning, one can expect to see new levels of efficiency in supply chain and warehouse automation. The market is ready for new ideas and we have the solutions that the industry needs.”

In recent months GreyOrange has secured customers in Hong Kong and India for retail, in South America a leading home improvement and decoration retailer  and in Japan signed up with Nitori Group, for one of their largest furniture and home furnishing chains. GreyOrange has acquired its first customer in Western Europe in the Omni-channel retail space and expects the deployment to start in second half of the year. The company is also in discussions with customers in Germany, Netherlands and France for deploying its Sorter and Butler robots.

To understand the power of GreyOrange solutions, delegates can visit the GreyOrange at stand 03 in the Home Delivery World Europe 2017 (Business Design Centre, London, UK, 28-29 March, 2017).
