GreenDust Announces Protection Plan for its Consumers

GreenDust augments its post-sale customer service offerings, with a revolutionary offer called GreenDust Protection Plan (GPP). The all inclusive GPP covers the first year, i.e., 0 to 12 months of Accidental Damage or Liquid Damage and extends the warranty of a sold product by 1 or 2 years, depending on the plan, from the date of expiry of manufacturer’s warranty. The plan starts at a price as low as Rs. 2 per day.

GPP effectively transfers the financial risk of device failure from the customer to GreenDust, as the provider of the extended warranty. Apart from covering just mobile devices, there are other products which will be covered under the plan, viz. Tablet, Laptop, Cameras, LCD/LED, Color TV, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, ACs, or Microwave irrespective of the brand of the device.
