GIGABYTE Opens Branch in New Delhi

GIGABYTE Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd has announced the opening of their branch office in New Delhi.

The 1,700-squarefoot space office, situated in the heart of Nehru Place (said to be India’s biggest IT market place), is strategically designed to be GIGABYTE Technology’s service hub for the entire North Indian market. The new office, which was formally inaugurated on October 16, 2012, will go a long way in expediting the service experience for end-users based across North India. It will also fulfill a long pending demand of Nehru Place-based IT resellers / retailers to have a full-fledged GIGABYTE office in their midst, allowing them to provide faster and superior services to their customers.

The office will meet every requirement involved in the delivery of after-sales services. While high-end BGA machines and skilled, experienced engineers (including those from Taiwan), will cater to motherboard repairs even up to Level 4, the office will also have adequate supply of buffer stock to facilitate Across the Table Replacement (ATR).

In addition to GIGABYTE personnel, the company’s service partner, Accel Frontline, will also provide manpower support for the office’s activities.

The new office aligns perfectly with the company’s India growth strategy, according to Sunil Grewal, Sales Director – India, GIGABYTE Technology. He elaborated, “We, at GIGABYTE India, have witnessed a steady growth over the years, and the last few quarters have been exceptional. Having such a full-fledged, technically advanced service center in a key location like Nehru Place, becomes a natural progression for us in our bid to provide improvised, one-point solutions for services. Such service centers will help us improve market responsiveness and customer relationship – to match and further push our growth.

The new office will work in tandem with the company’s over 30 Special Service Partners (SSPs); over 30 Accel Care Centers (ACC); and 24 ATRs across India. SSPs are basically GIGABYTE Premium Partners appointed as motherboard collection agents. ACCs and ATRs are collection points and replacement centers respectively, which are part of Accel Frontline.

GIGABYTE Technology had recently opened full-fledged service centers in Kolkata (West Bengal), Kochi (Kerala), Mumbai (Maharashtra) and Ahmedabad (Gujarat) earlier this year, which act as similar service hubs for their respective regions.
