“ECS Always Try to Offer Latest Technology at Best Cost to Performance Ratio”

Today Indian ICT industry is fortunately one of the biggest industries globally and continuing to touch massive growth parameters. As per some reports published earlier, this industry has the potential to become world’s no 1 market in future, India has a huge consumer market that would help this market to grow its heights. The demand of technology products is increasing among customers and brands are putting all their efforts to develop new technologies to make such products more customer friendly. ECS is a manufacturer of high-end computer products and catering the market from so long. In a recent conversation with DT, Rajshekhar Bhatt, Country Manager at ECS spoke on their overall activities and upcoming market plans. Read below the excerpts:

DT: How has been ECS overall performance this year across Indian market?

Mr. Bhatt: As we have seen $ getting appreciated recently resulting into bit of slowdown of market, adding to that low availability of CPUs in part of Q3 & major part of Q4 (likely). Fortunately we could anticipate the same in advance & planned our strategy accordingly. We have been able to achieve our internal growth plan using suitable products or targeting specific segment.  

DT: Please brief about the major collaborations & programs you have concluded so far with your channel partners. What is your future roadmap for promotion activities?

Mr. Bhatt: During the year we did a successful channel scheme called “Fly to Computex with LIVA” which was welcomed by all concerns & we plan to further enhance such program in future. We also did few B2B Enterprise & SME event which was not possible without the support of concern channel partner, the theme of this event was “Empowering your Business” where we discuss about their pain area or things they look when considering buying Computing Device.

DT: What are your online & offline channel strategies to reach to wider customer base? How do you work with your channel partners to increase revenue and presence?

Mr. Bhatt: We prefer to work with both the channel & work in a way to avoid any conflict between them. IMP thing is customer should be able to get our products across India which we anyways can manage with deep reach of our exclusive distributor Rashi Peripherals Pvt Ltd & also customer should get affordable correct price.

DT: Which have been your top selling products in Indian market this year?

Mr. Bhatt: We have been able to offer great performance products since our inception in India market. In recent time, we have succeeded in catering to the need of computing for businesses across India through mini PC LIVA. Our customer has shown immense faith and trust on this product as its best technology solutions at an affordable price point for all kind of business needs. We are really happy to see LIVA growing very well in Indian market. We have been also doing well in few segments of specific motherboard market.

DT: How are you working towards bringing more innovative and more efficient products? Do you have any plan for new products to be introduced in India in coming days?

Mr. Bhatt: ECS always try to offer latest technology at best Cost to Performance (CP) Ratio. Every two months we introduce new model of mini PC based on feedback of our channel partners, SI & end clients. For India we also prefer to sell products keeping Digital India in mind & also with all relevant government approvals like BIS & WPC etc.
