CONFED-ITA Successfully Concludes it’s AGM Meet in Ooty

CONFEDERATION OF IT ASSOCIATIONS Tamilnadu & Pondicherry (CONFED-ITA), successfully organized its Annual General Body meeting (summit 2019) on 14th & 15th June 2019 at Sterling Frenhill Resorts Ooty. The event was a huge success as around 600+ participants including 500 delegates from all the districts of Tamilnadu & Puducherry attended the two days event. The Famous writer cum Television Anchor Mr. Gobinath Chandran was the chief guest for our summit 2019.

The dealers came across all the region to attend this most awaited summit. It was a two days event with many activities related to associations objective and target plans. In this latest edition of the summit, more vendors showcased their products at their booths. This has helped partners in gaining more knowledge about brands latest innovations in each product segment.

The first day was allotted for Association meeting, Installation of New Board members and all the member associations presented their projects and presentation done in the last year. The second day we allotted for business sessions. The afternoon session was the vendor presentations. In the evening they organized some entertainment sessions along with gala dinner. During these two days, the energy was very high among attendees with complete house attendance while vendors were very happy with the outcome of the unity, they displayed in making this event a huge success.

HP Consumer division was the Main sponsor for the summit. Realtime Security systems, Toshiba & TCL together supported the event as main sponsorship whereas Dell & Boom was entertainment sponsors of the summit 2019.

CONFED-ITA is the apex body of 25 district associations in Tamilnadu & Pondicherry and was founded in the year 2006 to work for the well-being of the IT market across the region. The association has been organising partner & vendor summit to boost the growth of the entire community. The association is also known for its tough stand against many vendors in the past to save the interest of dealers and distributors.
