PhonePe took the first step in wealth creation for its customers with the introduction of Gold. This enables customers to buy certified 24 Karat (K) Gold at live, competitive and transparent prices on the PhonePe app.

With the festive season around the corner, PhonePe has launched exclusive offers for its customers where you can get upto Rs.5000 cashback on Gold purchases. The Gold Utsav brings assured rewards where 100 lucky customers have a chance to win a gold chain. 20 Lucky Customers win a free Kalyan Jewellery Gift Voucher worth Rs. 5000/- and an offer of 25% up to Rs. 200 cashback on your first bus booking on PhonePe.

Gold purchased by customers on the app will be stored in a Digi Locker. As a special offer customers can also get the gold delivered in tamper proof packaging directly to your doorstep at Flat Rs. 99/-

To provide seamless Gold purchases, PhonePe has partnered with SafeGold, India’s accredited gold refinery to create a gold marketplace for its customers. 

Here is how you can purchase Gold on the PhonePe app:

1. Download and register on the PhonePe app and click on the Gold icon
2. You will see the current gold prices which are updated in line with the gold prices in the market
3. Enter the amount of gold you want to buy in Rupees or grams
4. Select the payment method of your choice to complete your purchase. The gold purchased will be physically stored in the Gold Locker
5. You can either get the Gold delivered or keep it stored in the locker and accumulate over time
