AxisRooms Receives PCI DSS Certification

AxisRooms has received Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification, proving the presence of secure and robust systems within the AxisRooms portfolio.

The company has ensured its products are compliant with international security best practices and principles which further prove its standing in the industry as a provider of premium quality and secure services. AxisRooms has implemented all information security policies in line with PCI guidelines which also include building and maintaining a secure network and implementing strong access control measures.

As a market leader in India, with 7000+ hotels, AxisRooms has a decent demand from accommodation providers, who are using its various platforms like Channel Manager, Revenue Management system, Web Booking Engine, Rate Shopping platform, etc. It has a few additional service platforms as well, such as Hotel Extranet for emerging OTA, Travel Agent & Corporate hotel contracting and booking module.

The PCI certificate further substantiates AxisRooms conscious efforts towards continuously ensuring its data security measures. This means that while handling online bookings from online channels and travel agents through the GDS, the consumer’s credit card data is fully protected within AxisRooms and Simple Distributions systems.

Further, AxisRooms is planning to add 18000+ hotel/accommodation partners in India to use their platform and also expects a surge of 50% in their customer base, which will use its real-time data analytics and revenue management systems. For the International Market predominantly, it is set to expand their operations in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Maldives, and UAE & Indonesia with the addition of 5000+ hotels.
