Q. How do you rate ASUS' overall performance in year 2015?

A. For Asus Component Business 2015 was quite productive. In the true sense we explored into new segments and product categories. This year we launched new product verticals, which is what we consider as the road ahead.

Q. Why should consumers or partners trust your brand?

A. Asus since its inception has been known for manufacturing stable and trusted products that were designed keeping the consumer in mind. Asus is and has been the World’s largest MB manufacturer for many years. With every passing year Asus creates so many beautifully designed products that are extremely innovative yet very stylish. With millions of our loyal partners and users across the world and in India it is not a challenge to be a ‘Most Trusted Brand’ for its users.

Q. What's your opinion about your Government of India's 'Make-in-India' program? How do you support this program?

A. It’s a promising initiative what the Govt. of India has done with the ‘Make in India’ program. It gives a sense of pride that many IOT companies are investing in India to Make In India. Asus also is closely observing the developments that are taking place and see this as a good opportunity.

Q. Is your company working on government projects under the Digital India program?

A. We may not be the direct partners involved in the Digital India program but there is a lot of R & D sharing on the newer technologies and better implementation. We are excited with this Program that will open so many opportunities in India.

Q. What kind of regulatory changes should happen to improve the business ecosystem in the country?

A. India is a key emerging financial market and a significant economic power in Asia. With initiatives like ’Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ the Government has set foot in the right direction. This will make it easier for MNCs to do business. However companies in this space should have the exposure of working with different kinds of technology, so they can identify different applications. Having said that, a complete hardware ecosystem need not mean the supply chain is based in India. We look forward to continued support from the government. This will definitely see the business and economic sentiment growing more positive.
