mCarbon Gets ‘League of 10’ Award from NASSCOM

mCarbon has been conferred with the prestigious NASSCOM EMERGE 50 ‘League of 10’ Award. The award was announced at the NASSCOM Product Conclave 2012, Bangalore on 7th November, following an annual conference on Indian software product ecosystem.mCarbon received the award from Som Mittal, President, NASSCOM and Krishnakumar Natarajan, Chair NASSCOM Emerge Forum; CEO & MD, MindTree Ltd. It was truly a proud moment for the young and vibrant company.

The league of 10 companies was chosen after a lengthy and arduous process of evaluation and scrutiny. In the recently held Product Conclave, NASSCOM distributed its "Group of Emergents" handout where it shared more details regarding the process. This year over 500 companies participated in the study. After classifying these into three categories - Innovation, Growth and Startups, NASSCOM announced the 50 emerging companies. Following this, each of the top 50 companies had to present to an esteemed panel of judges that included the likes of Pramod Bhasin (former President and CEO, Genpact), Arjun Malhotra (Chairman & CEO, Headstrong), Anil Bakht (Co-founder and Director, Eastern Software Systems), Mohit Goyal (IAN), Manish Bahl (V.P. & Country Manager - India, Forrester). After a grilling session for each company by the judges that took place in Bangalore, Pune and New Delhi, NASSCOM announced the top 10 companies from the 50, as the League of 10 winners.
